Welcome to May's bulletin

At a time when online information for patients is becoming a key issue, we focus on our healthcare news service: Reuters Health Information. Also read on to find out if you're a winner of our Library and Information Show competition!

  Keep patients informed

It's never been more important to offer your users information on healthcare. For example, the UK government's recent launch of its patient choice website for use in public libraries is indicative of the increasing demand for information on medical conditions and treatment.

  Reuters Health Information

Start catering for your medically-aware users today with the help of Reuters Health Information. Ideal for patients, the Health eLine service offers accurate, readable and useful medical news reports – a healthy alternative to the usually skimpy treatment in the general media.

Reuters Health Information delivers over 75-100 news stories each day and includes resources for medical professionals and industry researchers, as well as patients.

Here's a summary of what's included:

Health eLine
The consumer-friendly news service delivering a lively, informative roundup of news for readers interested in wellness, healthcare and the latest medical treatments.
Daily Medical News
Ideal for keeping physicians and other medical professionals informed of developments in their field.
Reuters Health Industry Briefing
The latest news on the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical devices and diagnostics industries, updated every 15 minutes throughout the day.
